OMG THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN KERN COUNTY!!! I highly recommend TO START with an order of table side guacamole with FLOUR TORTILLA CHIPS (you need to request flour chips or else theyll bring more of the typical corn tortilla chips that you already get for free with the salsa as soon as you get seated. BELIEVE ME YOU WANT THE FLOUR CHIPS!
ok so now after that delicious appetizer I highly recommend you get the 3 item combo plate (reasonably priced at $13.99)

*Shredded beef taco
*Chili relano
The plate will automatically come with refried beans with cheese melted atop & spanish rice.
(Sometimes I switch out my Chili Relano for a tamale!)
Ohhhh dont let me forget about the desert:
They offer Flan but im not a fan of that stuff so I get the bomb diggity of desert choices off their menu:FRIED ICECREAM! Oh yes my fellow Yelp peeps! They take a big ball of vanilla ice cream and they roll it around in COCONUT & fry it then they drizzle chocolate syrup all ova this masterpiece AND WHIPPED CREAM & yep a cherry on top! Ohhh damn I cant go there and skip desert so sometimes I just get Taquitos Ala Cart (just by themselves with no sides! I believe those are only like $5 bucks and worth every bit! So ill have room for the fried ice cream ball.
Oh and I cant just talk about the food, the BAR is tiny but the bar tenders are perfect at making drinks & theyll even let you reserve the bar for your private event FOR NO XTRA CHARGE (but keep in mind it only seats 15 at table +5 more at bar top so 20 max. I RESERVE IT EVERY ONE OF MY BDAYS IN JUNE!)
Also SERVICE AT THIS PLACE IS 5 STAR, you never have to look around for your waiter bcuz theyre watching you (from a distance so dont worry they aint all up on ya~ I hate places that do that. Its just as bad to be upon me every 3 mins checking on me as it is to just ignore me~ but at this place its the PERFECT AMOUNT AND TONE OF SERVICE. -

The food is excellent and the service is super‼ I was pleasantly surprised by this local family restaurant! I can't eat anything real Spicy and Alex did an amazing job fixing me guacamole that had no peppers or spice, also he made me a special "Skinny" Margarita that was wonderful‼ We were staying at the Orange grove RV park just east of Bakersfield just looking for dinner for the night! We will go out of our way when traveling to eat at this Awesome little restaurant in Lamont Ca. near Bakersfield off hwy 184 and hwy 58

Favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! Salsa is flavorful, although It could use a small kick of heat. The hubby and I like to order the shrimp enchiladas with fresh pot beans. Thy don't skimp on the shrimp, so if you like seafood and enchiladas, then this is the dish for you.
Another favorite entree we like to order is their fajitas. Fajitas are not all created equal, so this one is worth noting- they know how to sauté their vegetables just right and serve the meat and chicken in abundance. Call me crazy, but I drive from out of town just to come and eat here. And let's not forget about the kind staff they have- They are attentive and are ready!
